My name is Jeffrey Chan, a freshman majoring in Mechanical Engineering at CCNY. Born and living in Brooklyn, New York, I’m a Chinese American able to speak English and Cantonese. Prior notable education includes an Advanced Regents diploma from Brooklyn Technical High School, as well as a CTE certification also acquired from there. As of now, I have approximately 25 credits toward my diploma. For my career, I have worked a summer job as a camp counselor, specifically as an inclusion staff in 2024, alongside being a park volunteer for 2023. Relevant skills include an ability to code in Java, C++, and G Code, being able to use CNC machines, laser cutters, and 3d printers, and having knowledge of 3-d modeling regarding manufacturing. Quality wise, I’m able to learn precision things quickly, as well as being well-read and steadfast. Interest wise, my main focuses are reading novels, fps games, listening to music, and playing badminton.
